Erie Insurance has announced the promotion of Tim Shine (pictured above) to senior vice president in IT, focused on sales and product technology.
In the newly created role, Shine will lead Erie’s technology transformation across personal lines, commercial lines and Erie Family Life. he will report to Partha Srinivasa, chief information officer at Erie.
Shine has more than 25 years of professional technology experience, most recently serving as Erie’s vice president of information technology. Since joining the company in 1999, he has led the modernization of its core insurance system, including the delivery of the Quoting and Application System (QAS), ERIESecure Business and ERIE Express Life. prior to joining Erie, Shine held technology roles at State Farm and General Electric Transportation.
